A portion of 500 ml of each sample, immediately after receipt, is sent for chemical analysis, in order to capture the separate identity of its physical characteristics. Another 500 ml are inserted into refractory conical laboratory vials and placed in the installation.
Finally, mixing 100 ml of all the samples that have been sent, creates the ideal and archetypal “Water of the Earth”, which is the central exhibit of the collection. Mixing water samples from every river or lake from what the collection has or will come in the future, draws us to a metaphysical experience and fantasy about the magic liquid of life.
